Insurance companies are trying to get in on the game of integrating “AI” in their services and products, in what looks like an invasive case of the fear of missing out, in terms of a bid to position themselves as leaders in the industry.

And in Japan, at least one company believes that the particular developing technology will give it “god-like powers” of prediction – whether this concerns natural disasters, weather – or mental health, such as dementia.
