To complement the new scope of its services, the company has changed its domain from HitmarkerJobs.com to Hitmarker.net and updated its website.

Phil Huggan, Founder of Hitmarker, spoke about the domain change in a release: “Now that we’re broadening the types of jobs we offer on Hitmarker, it feels like the right time to update our domain with a view of focusing less on the jobs themselves and more on creating a true professional network for gamers.”

After raising 250 percent of its crowdfunding campaign target, totaling £200,000, Hitmarker has bolstered its workforce to accommodate the increase of work that comes with expanding from just esports to the overarching games industry.

Rich Huggan, Managing Director of Hitmarker, commented on the expansion: “We’re excited to go live with our expansion into the wider video game industry and to unveil all the hard work our team has been putting in these past few months. We anticipate the number of openings available on our platform to increase by a factor of five, and on day one we already have over 1,000 gaming opportunities available, with around 200 more being added every day thereafter.”

Esports Insider says: Hitmarker has done an incredible job of bringing together the majority of the opportunities available in esports – and breaking them down for ease of use – and we were happy to see the community give back by supporting its crowdfunding efforts. Now expanding into the games industry, more growth is on the horizon for the company if it serves the wider landscape in the same way that it did in just esports alone.
