Envy Gaming names Adam Rymer as new CEO
North American organisation Envy Gaming announced Adam Rymer as its new CEO, replacing Mike Rufail.
Rymer will assume the position of Envy Gaming’s CEO from July 13th. In turn, Rufail will transition to the organisation’s Chief Gaming Officer with the responsibility of “scouting, recruiting and working with” players and coaches.

Hurrah establishes parent holding for communications services
French esports agency Hurrah launched what it describes as the “first communications group” dedicated to the industry, Hurrah.group.
Hurrah.group will house production company Hurrah.studio, media-buying company Hurrah.media, and ad agency business Hurrah.agency.

Chiefs Esports Club partners with L’Oréal Paris Men Expert
Australian organisation Chiefs Esports Club welcomed global skincare brand L’Oréal Paris Men Expert as a major partner for the remainder of 2020.
The deal will see L’Oréal Paris Men Expert provide its men’s grooming products to the organisation’s players. The partnership will be activated through giveaways and “special events” such as tournaments involving Chiefs Esports Club’s players. A tweet from the organisation suggests content will also be a component.

Team Heretics makes alliance with UNICEF Spain
Spanish organisation Team Heretics established a partnership with charitable organisation UNICEF Spain.
Through this agreement, Team Heretics and UNICEF Spain seek to promote the socialisation and empowerment of young people through esports and gaming, promote the rights of children, raise awareness and work to reduce toxicity and bullying in networks and promote positive play behaviour.
