Within the most demanded titles, LOOT.BET’s users placed the most money on following events: ESL One Road to Rio (CS:GO), Epic League (Dota 2) and Legends Pro League (LPL) Summer (League of Legends).
Previously one of the least popular games, FIFA, managed to finish fourth, and VALORANT, being a newcomer in the esports space, placed seventh, ahead of established titles such as Overwatch and Rocket League.
By average bet size, the leader was League of Legends with €32.34 (~ £28.81), followed by King of Glory and Call of Duty. The two most demanded games – CS:GO and Dota 2 — ended up in 10th and 11th place, with €21.41 (~ £19.07) and €20.64 (~ £18.38), respectively.
The highest returns on a winning bet on LOOT.BET for the past year brought a bettor €6,520 (~ £5,808) of net profit, with only €20 (~ £17.82) risked and the total odds of 327.
Among teams, Natus Vincere (CS:GO), Team Nigma (Dota 2) and T1 (League of Legends) were the favourites. By average bet size it was Team Liquid (CS:GO), Just Error (Dota 2) and Victory Five (League of Legends), whilst the max bets belonged to Heroic (CS:GO), Team Aster (Dota 2) and DAMWON Gaming (League of Legends).
The most money in total was won thanks to Sprout (CS:GO), VP.Prodigy (Dota 2), and FlyQuest (League of Legends). The teams that disappointed bettors the most were Fnatic (CS:GO), Team Nigma (Dota 2), and FunPlus Phoenix (League of Legends).
Going by profit on every euro placed, the leaders were Gambit (CS:GO), 496 Gaming (Dota 2), and LDLC OL (League of Legends), while Team Singularity (CS:GO), B8 (Dota 2) and Team Vitality (League of Legends) ended up at the opposite end of the scale.
LOOT.BET has also shared statistics for countries, according to which the luckiest bettors were citizens of Ukraine, Sweden, and Hungary, while the unluckiest users came from Spain, Canada, and South Korea.

The most active, by the average quantity of bets per client, were Hungary, Japan, and Switzerland, with the least active by the same measure being Poland, Russia, and Ukraine.
The highest median odds were recorded in India, the Philippines and Poland. Spain, Indonesia, and South Korea placed at the bottom of the respective rankings.
Despite plenty of esports events being cancelled due to the pandemic in 2020, LOOT.BET showed significant growth. In the past year, the bookmaker saw a 67 percent increase in betting volumes while active users grew by 58 percent.
Esports Insider says: Looking at LOOT.BET’s growth in 2020, it’s clear that esports betting is blooming together with the industry. Thanks to traditional sports being paused due to the pandemic, simulation sports titles like FIFA gained more popularity in 2020, but began to plateau as traditional sports returned. As for the most popular titles, it looks like the well-established trinity is going to hold on to the top for a little longer.
