Chinese video game developer Moonton has welcomed Razer as its official peripheral partner for Mobile Legends: Bang Bang’s 2021 M2 World Championship.
As part of the deal, the gaming hardware brand will produce a special edition Razer BlackShark V2 gaming headset, with the product featuring an illustration of Mobile Legends: Bang Bang’s character Miya.

The artwork was designed and hand-painted by popular Indonesian visual entertainer Shanetortilla. The headset will be available to Moonton’s ‘top influencers’ as a token of appreciation for their support in sharing on social media.
In celebration of the tournament, Razer will also be providing online activations which give fans the opportunity to win prizes.
According to the release, the collaboration aims to forge a strong partnership, with both entities working towards innovative initiatives within the esports scene. The exclusive headset is supposedly a ‘testament to the commitment the two brands have to each other’.

Held at the Shangri-La hotel in Singapore, M2 World Championship is co-organised by Moonton and the Singapore’s Cybersports and Online Gaming Association (SCOGA) with the support of the Singapore Tourism Board (STB). This marks Singapore’s second live sports event to welcome overseas-based athletes.
Earlier this month, the developer unveiled a number of partners for the championship, including global electronics manufacturer Samsung, gaming chair manufacturer Secretlab, Singapore media company Mediacorp and live streaming platform Nimo.
Esports Insider says: Considering the popularity of Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, as well as Razer’s large commitment to the Asian esports market, this collaboration comes as no surprise. Creating a special edition of Razer headset seems like a great marketing move for both brands.
