Ninjas in Pyjamas unveils rebranding, CEO discusses new visual identity

Swedish esports organisation Ninjas in Pyjamas (NiP) has unveiled a new visual identity for the team as part of an official rebranding.

According to a press release, the rebranding was ‘crucial to the company’s continued development and purpose,’ which includes the creation of experiences which entertain, inspire, and connect fans across the world.

Team Liquid extends long-term partnership with Alienware

North American organisation Team Liquid has announced the extension of its 10-year partnership with gaming PC brand Alienware.

The extension will see Alienware continue to supply hardware for Team Liquid, with innovations focused on three new programmes: fan engagement, player performance & technology, and community opportunities.

Relog Media partners with ESIC for CS:GO events

Tournament organiser Relog Media has partnered with the Esports Integrity Commission (ESIC) in order to help strengthen the integrity of its CS:GO events.

As a result of the collaboration, the Serbia-based esports tournament operator and production company will implement ESIC’s rules, penalties and integrity goals during its events. Also this week, ESIC announced that SportsModule and its subsidiary, tournament organiser 247 Leagues, have also become members of the commission.

BIG selected as 12th BLAST Premier Member Team

German esports organisation Berlin International Gaming (BIG) has joined BLAST Premier as a Member Team after winning a ‘competitive bidding process’, according to the tournament organiser. 

BIG has become the 12th team in BLAST Premier’s membership programme, replacing 100 Thieves following the organisation’s exit from CS:GO.


Exclusive: Guild Esports Executive Chairman on 2021 ambitions and financial results

This morning (Friday, January 29th), British esports organisation Guild Esports (LSE: GILD) announced its results for the previous financial year.

The publicly listed company announced a loss before tax of £2.7m. The financial year in question, from 3rd September 2019 to 30th September 2020, reflects the pre-revenue stage when start-up and operating costs were high.
